Mastercook.com is a recipe and cookbook application which provides home cooks and professional chefs the ability to organize their recipes, create cookbooks, and analyze nutrition and cost for the perfect portioned meals. It is used by leading chefs, restaurants, and hotels worldwide. With over two million installed users, and containing over four million recipes, it is the primary go to site for recipe’s online.

Framework Solutions manages the ongoing development and enhancement of the Mastercook application, providing software support for the complex MVC technology environment, and also oversees Mastercook.com's online marketing and advertising presence. 

Providence Health and Services is one of the largest not-for-profit health systems based in the United States. They operate 34 hospitals, a number of research organizations including JWCI (John Wayne Cancer Institute), multiple physician clinics, long-term care facilities, hospice and home health programs, and nursing units. The cornerstone of their mission is to provide compassionate care that is accessible for all – especially those who are poor and vulnerable.

Framework Solutions created the current bio-repository database system for JWCI in 2006 enabling them to track over 2 million specimens across a large freezer bank. In 2013, Framework introduced the clinical module for this system, tracking and linking thousands of patients and their treatment history to the bio-repository.  More recently Framework has been engaged by Providence to deploy this exciting bio-repository and specimen tracking solution into the Disney Cancer Center, and also to expand the sophisticated document tracking system to accommodate FDA and IRB compliance requirements.  

Sessions Payroll is an established Hollywood payroll service and the leading movie extra payroll service in Hollywood.  They write tens of thousands of checks every month for movie extras working all over the United States, and interface with multiple large scale production companies and movie studios such as HBO.  

Framework Solutions helped them to design and implement scalable custom software which allows high volume movie extra payroll data to be entered rapidly.  In the background, a custom union rules payroll engine automates the payroll calculations, resulting in significantly lower labor costs even while paying extra's faster, and enabling production companies to track costs real-time over the internet.  This innovative solution has enabled Sessions Payroll to become the number one move extra payroll service in Hollywood.

A.G.I.A., Inc., was founded in 1965 and is based out of Carpinteria CA. They are a major insurance provider that creates, markets, and administers custom tailored insurance programs and services for associations, labor organizations, and financial institutions. They also provide various customer support services ranging from finding the insurance product and insurance company to offering new solutions, servicing, and paying claims to members and customers.

Framework Solutions developed an insurance e-commerce platform which hosts 18 separately branded websites, offering online insurance enrollments for large organizations including the US marines, the NRA, the AIA, and Good Sam Club.  This system includes a central CMS, a built-in CRM campaigning system, real-time ecommerce, and adaptable enrollment wizard components which facilitate customer member enrollments across websites for a range of Guaranteed Issue and Underwritten insurance products.

We also developed comprehensive database applications which facilitates the creation and administration of AGIA’s master policies across all of their affiliates. The system allows AGIA to manage new and pre-existing policies, record policy and customer information and enroll new policy holders online from one centralized location.

They help companies worldwide to better control their technology acquisition as well as their leasing and management requirements. They work to assist them in optimizing their IT expenditures helping them to find the best solutions for spend optimization.

In 2016 Framework Solutions was retained by Insight Investments LLC to perform an application architecture  assessment for their 2NDGEAR computer wholesale and retail division.  Following our application architecture assessment methodology, we interviewed department heads and key personnel throughout the operation, reviewed ERP and CRM applications, and documented detailed recommendations in accordance with a 2 year plan to automate the recycling plant to achieve significant scalability and process improvements.  With the ROI clearly identified, our software consultants and system integrators are now actively overseeing and performing the critical development tasks to enhance the operation.
